Do you want to extend your dive time and explore the dive sites you love for longer?

As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals – so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.

What You Learn

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. Topics include:

Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

Prerequisites

In order to take the PADI Enriched Air – Nitrox (EANx) Specialty, you must first already be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent), and you must be 12 years old.
